New PropellerAds Tools to Make Campaign Management Fast and Risk-Free

PropellerAds has rolled out three updates that make it easier to organize campaigns, control spend, and optimize traffic quality without extra manual work. Whether you run large-scale Push campaigns, Onclick traffic, or multi-GEO flows, these features are designed to save time and support cleaner, more predictable results.

Below is a quick digest of what’s new and how each feature can improve your campaigns performance.

1. Zone Groups: Faster Setups and Cleaner Optimization

Zone Groups

If you run several similar campaigns, you probably already know the pain of hand-selecting the same converting zones over and over to benefit from them again. No worries - now, Zone Groups fix this.

Zone Groups feature lets you collect different placements, whether entire sections of a publisher’s website or specific ad slots from different websites - into organized groups. So instead of building each campaign from scratch, you apply a ready-made group.

Why it matters

  • One update applies everywhere: when you set the group once, every linked campaign adjusts automatically.

  • Fewer errors: less risks of missed zones or duplicated lists.

  • Predictable traffic: build groups from zones that already perform well for your vertical or offer.

  • Easier scaling: ideal if you manage multiple campaigns.

If you’ve ever built white-lists manually, this is the streamlined, scalable version.

2. CTR-Based Rules: Automate Decisions before Performance Dips

PropellerAds already allows automated rules based on spend and conversions (this is our Rule-Based Optimization feature), but now you can also trigger rules by CTR. This gives you earlier signals, especially during testing.

Set a rule like:

If CTR is higher than X%, increase the bid; if it drops below Y%, pause or exclude the zone.

The screenshot below shows how this fits naturally into your existing rule-builder: If Spend is X AND CTR is higher than Y%, then adjust bids or stop zones.

Rule-based campaigns

Why it matters

  • Protect your budget automatically: low-CTR zones won’t keep draining money.

  • Smarter early-stage testing: CTR-based rules help you test efficiently and spot good angles early.

  • More efficient scaling: you can boost top-performers at the exact moment they show potential.

  • Hands-off optimization: the algorithms react before you need to.

For affiliates running volume-heavy Push or Interstitial campaigns, this removes a lot of manual work.

3. Clean Scaling with Separate Rates for MultiGEO Campaigns

If you run global or multi-region campaigns, bidding the same price everywhere rarely makes sense. With this new update, you can assign different bids to each GEO or custom group inside a single campaign.

The screenshot below shows examples of setting one CPM for Caribbean countries, another for South America, and separate bids for China or Hong Kong:

Why it matters

  • Full control over spend: you avoid overbidding and distribute budget optimally.

  • Smarter optimization based on each GEO’s ROI

  • Much easier scaling: no need to clone campaigns just to adjust bids by region.

This update is available across all ad formats and bidding models. It is especially useful for worldwide campaigns where traffic prices vary massively across regions.

Final thoughts

These updates all aim to bring more structure, more automation, and better cost control to your campaigns. With reusable zone sets, CTR-driven rules, and GEO-specific bidding, you can test faster, scale more accurately, and maintain stable performance with far less manual work.
