Interview with Udit Verma, Co-founder & CMO at Trackier

Hello everyone, we're very happy to present our latest interview with Udit Verma, Co-founder & CMO at Trackier. Trackier is a SAAS affiliate tracking platform that allows thousands of brands to create and manage their affiliate programs.

1. Hi Udit, first of all, thank you for your time and interest! Tell us about yourself and your company?

I am the Co-founder and CMO at Trackier, a Smart Performance Marketing Software. An Engineer by qualification, I have extensive experience of understanding the role of Marketing, Sales and Business Development and biases in decision making. My area of interest has always been Business. Having interacted with over thousands of individuals personally in the industry, I have been able to enrich my understanding of the Affiliate Marketing Industry and have a strong grip on helping individuals understand why they should try our platform and what are the added advantages we can serve them with which they won’t get from any other player present in the market.

2. Can you please tell us a little bit about Trackier and what you do over there? Can you please share how it all started?

Trackier, a Smart Performance Marketing software, strives to solve the most critical problems of marketers. With an office in India and a global office in the United States, Trackier serves customers in more than 25 countries. More than 200+ successful networks use Trackier to create their own advertising network. Trackier lets you create a market place for performance-based campaigns of the media buying models such as CPC, CPA, CPI, CPL, CPM and more. Once that’s done, you can further promote your campaigns by giving your affiliates, advertisers and partners access. All stats you view are in real-time, ensuring that you work and base your decisions on the most recent information. Tweak and tailor the base of your campaign on performance analysis and see the conversions go up. It was in 2016, while working with some Affiliate Networks for this technology, I along with my two other Co-Founders understood the technical challenges faced by companies when launching and ramping up their marketing performance campaigns, including conversion fraud, correct attribution of source code, effectively. Although there were platforms to solve the problem, we planned to approach them differently and that's how Trackier was born with the vision of being the best performance marketing software in the world.

With the host of many problems solving features in Internet Marketing that will help to build the online campaign and track performance of the campaigns, Trackier is a reliable technology that will simply get the job done.

3. What are the biggest challenges that you faced till now?

So far, the most challenging thing for us as a team was the rebranding of our product name from vNative to Trackier. vNative was thought to be as native ads networks by a lot of people. It was really difficult for us to explain that we are a technology company and that our product provides performance tracking for their CPA, CPI, CPS, etc. campaigns and allows smooth management of their affiliates. Since to find a new name for your brand and then market it is always a challenging task for a marketer.

4. There are already many affiliate tracking platforms out there. What makes Trackier different? What are your key advantages?

Yes, the market for tracking software is booming and you can find a new tracking platform coming up every now and then. We have used Machine Learning to develop models which can auto-optimize campaigns and redirect the user to the relevant offer. Our Product is built on a lean model with feedback from every customer we onboard, our platform becomes better. Our Algorithm to detect Fraud Conversions has helped the company save lots of wasted revenues. Therefore every new feature that we add into the platform, we make sure that it should align with our vision to become the best Performance Marketing Software and if the answer is yes we build it thus making the platform smarter day by day.

5. Can you share some of the future plans for Trackier? Where Trackier may be going?

We at Trackier aim to build the BEST PERFORMANCE MARKETING SOFTWARE in the Worlds and develop long term relationships with our customers and clients and provide exceptional customer services by pursuing business through innovation and advanced technology. Currently we are working on Machine Learning Algorithm to split traffic based on user behaviour, interests, semantic relatedness to achieve higher conversion rates for performance marketing campaigns while also enabling our customers to pragmatically optimize and distribute campaigns among various sources, Our plans are to study 40 billion visitor clicks on various campaigns and derive an algorithm for optimizing campaigns and automating performance marketing.

7. Give us a little glimpse into what a typical day in your life looks like.

I make sure I get ready and go through the door so I can get to work at least 30 minutes before the start time. So, if there are delays such as traffic, I'm always on time for meetings or important tasks. I check voicemail and calendar, then schedule my sitting time around other items, such as meetings. Sometimes it's hard to find a balance between friendliness and perseverance, but this is how it goes. I have a key responsibility for meeting several people throughout the day. So usually the first part of my day is taken to make sure everything is aligned. Yet the greater part of my day is taken with our Sales and Marketing meetings.
