I’ve worked in pay-per-call for 6 years. My account with Lead Smart was under Ahsan Raza, and this concerns my August payout.

My calls came through paid ads on Ringba and SEO. 90% had booked appointments. Lead Smart’s own team, Seth Pikus, emailed me about my calls: “That is great!”

Then $956.99 was reversed in one go, labeled “Marketplace.” No warning ever said my payout would be removed. Their emails only asked me to remove the sub-source. Other affiliates I know received a specific written warning about payout reversal. I didn’t.

I asked for the calls where Marketplace was never mentioned. Lead Smart promised me in writing, three times, that those calls ($1,198) would be paid. After I asked two questions about the reversal, they removed those calls too, along with my $206 CPL payout. Total withheld: $2,360.99.

I emailed for 30 days without a single reply. When I kept asking, I was threatened with the FIA. When I went public, the owner admitted on Facebook that my calls included “real ones,” but still didn’t pay. I offered to settle quietly for only the promised $1,404 and remove every post. Instead, I was blocked, my post was deleted, and I was removed from the group.

BEFORE LEAD SMART REPLIES WITH ITS “AI FRAUD REPORT,” HERE ARE THE ANSWERS

Lead Smart answers every complaint with the same copy-paste “AI Fraud Detection Case Report.” It has never answered the one question that matters: why promise three times in writing to pay calls you now call fraud? Nobody promises to pay for fraud.

“Traffic misrepresented.” They accepted my calls, routed them to buyers, got paid, and called them “great.” Their own long-time affiliates admitted publicly that Marketplace work through Lead Smart made people “tons of money,” and others were paid for Marketplace calls this August. “Marketplace not allowed” is enforced only when an affiliate asks questions.

“Callers weren’t customers.” That only applies to Marketplace calls. They have never shown a single non-Marketplace call where a caller mentioned a seller.

“Coached via WhatsApp.” Callers who had already called and dropped received a reconnect message to enter their zip code and wait. That’s not coaching. Lead Smart says its AI “listens to every call,” yet has never produced one scripted recording.

“Warnings ignored.” Neither warning said my payout would be removed. If their AI catches fraud “fast,” why did they keep routing and profiting from my calls for days before reversing?

“Team on one login.” When reversing calls, Lead Smart asked me for my sub-publishers’ names and emails. They knew how my account worked and allowed it. No clause was ever quoted.

“Caught within 7 days.” Then why “That is great!”, and why promise payment three times in writing after those 7 days?

“100+ emails from fake addresses.” False. They came from my own publishers’ real accounts, asking for their own payout after a month of silence. Lead Smart mentions them constantly but has never shown them.

“Threats and bribery.” I said I would take legal action, which is my right, and offered to say publicly the matter was resolved fairly if paid. Neither is a threat.

And the question they’ve never touched: those booked appointments were sold to buyers. If the calls were fraud, were the buyers refunded? If not, Lead Smart kept the buyer’s money and the publisher’s payout.

This isn’t an isolated case. Another review here describes the same pattern: Marketplace visible on the dashboard, traffic allowed to run, no warning, then the full payout withheld.

My advice to every affiliate: get every reversal rule in writing before you send a single call, screenshot every promise, and never let earnings build up unpaid. If a network can promise payment three times in writing and then withhold it, nothing protects you.

I worked with LeadSmart for over one year and delivered calls in good faith. Unfortunately, my experience ended with a serious payment dispute that raises concerns for other affiliates.

My payment of $6,326 was withheld despite the fact that I fully delivered services and provided complete ad spend proof, including screenshots and a verification video, as requested by their payment team. I cooperated professionally for over 15 days, but eventually communication stopped and the payment was never released.

After my dashboard was blocked on January 5, I was told that payment would not be made due to a limited number of marketplace calls. However, my dashboard had clearly shown “Marketplace” next to my name for over a year, meaning this was already known and accepted. No warning or reminder was ever sent while traffic was running. LeadSmart allowed calls to continue for the entire month and even several days into the next month, generating over $6,000, and only then blocked the dashboard and denied payment under vague “company rules.”

If I had been notified when the amount was still under $1,000, I would have stopped traffic immediately. Allowing services to continue and then withholding the full payment afterward is, in my view, bad faith and unfair to publishers.

Based on my experience, affiliates should proceed with extreme caution, get all terms clearly in writing, and closely monitor payment risk when working with LeadSmart.

This is my favorite network. The support, payouts, and number of offers is best of any company.
